What's a Weed Wrangle? Weed Wrangles ® are volunteer invasive species removal events hosted nationwide to control the invasive plants that are negatively impacting our public parks, green spaces and natural areas. Weed Wrangles® are led by experts and include and education and hands on component. Volunteers will learn how to manage the targeted invasive species and get to work as part of a collaborative effort to improve a natural area. Weed Wrangles® are often held repeatedly at the same location for two reasons. First, invasive species management takes time. Unfortunately removing these species is not a one and done approach. Second, returning to work on the same site lets you see the impact your efforts are having in the ecosystem. Being part of a Weed Wrangle® is a fun way to learn, meet new people, and make a difference in our environment! Weed Wrangle Hosts: submit your post event data using this form.
