Mike - Potter's Bridge

Hello!  I’m Mike.  I am a 30 year Noblesville resident, living along Cicero Creek near Morse Park and Beach and I am happy to be helping with improving our parks. My goal is to help bring back Indiana native plants where invasive species have pushed them out.

What I’m Doing
I’ve been involved and have done invasives work at many of the county parks. I love being active and part of each team. Potter's Bridge Park became particularly of interest when I noticed little has been done to restore the property ecologically.

Why it matters to Me
Since my retirement I’ve walked many of the trails and parks in our county and observed the damage the invasive species have done. I hope to live long enough to see our wooded areas as they were in my youth. It’s not an original answer, but I am doing this for the future generations. And yes - there is that personal gratification of making things better.

Muhammad Ali credits his grandma with these words to live by:
“Our service on earth pays the rent for our room in heaven”
